Payback started in 2002 with members of old roman punk/hc bands like Colonna Infame,Duap,Strength Approach,Pissed & Proud. The "Payback Sound" is a powerful Old School Hardcore,influenced by bands like Cro Mags,Agnostic Front,Warzone,but also with a strong Streetpunk attitude. After one year they released their first cd "Keep Your Friends Close...." who got very good responses from the kids and the alternative press. Payback played a lot in Rome,even supporting bands like Integrity,Agnostic Front,Terror,and all around Italy where a lot of kids follow them and support them with sincerity. Their shows are devasting,full of moshing and singalong parts. In these days they're recording their second cd that will be out on May 2005.
